We are excited to now be able to offer to our customers both Kanna Root as well as Kanna leaf! The root and leaf each have their own feeling, though they are similar in overall effects…find which one you resonate with best ๐Ÿ™‚ Our Kanna is Finely cut for easy use in teas, chewing or smoking ๐Ÿ™‚

Kanna, Sceletium Tortuosum, is an herb native to South Africa which has a long history of use by indigenous humans. Used commonly to help mood and to increase mental prowess, but this herb was also used in mystical application by shaman.

Our Kanna is fermented material consisting of root, leaf and shoot blended together, this provides the full range of compounds this plant has to offer and is very potent per gram.

Kannaย  is known for its unique mood up-lifting qualities, and has been used traditionally to fight anxieties and depression. The common methods of consumption are chewing, eating, smoking and snuffing; each are said to produce individual effects.

This herb is a known Serotonin interacting herb (SSRI or SRI i believe)…this means PLEASE BE CAREFUL ABOUT MIXING THIS HERB WITH ANY MEDICATIONS (Plant or Pharmaceutical)! Plants such as Kanna which affect serotonin receptors in this way can be extremely dangerous if combined with the wrong herb/prescription. Please be conscious of what you are doing, and err on the side of caution! Be Safe, we love you ๐Ÿ™‚

I am enjoying this gentle herbal refresher quite a bit. The taste can be icky, but the serotonin-enhancing effects after sublingual holding are quite worth it.
    Thanks EiaBB!
