Description
Kava Kava (Piper methysticum) is a very special herb which provides us with the the blessing of unwinding our tangled energies and helps us to find an emotional and intellectual center.
Used traditionally in the Pacific Islands, the part of this plant utilized is the root. The natives partake of Kava Kava in community gatherings, and it also has use in shamanistic practice as well.
Traditional preparation involves the drying and chopping of the roots. Then the dried root material is either chewed, or used in a water extraction. Generally kava preparations are made with Cold Water, and sometimes Coconut Milk (the fat helps to extract the active alkaloids). Heat is sometimes used, but it is said that heat damages the Kavalactones and so is undesirable.
This herb has been used in traditional medicine to help with Anxiety, Panic attacks, Stress, Insomnia and other conditions.
Our Kava Kava is grown in Vanuatu and is of very high quality 🙂 We provide ground small pieces of Root material, ideal for chewing or blending into a drink.

I love this kava, I havent had it in a long time and I just love the taste of the tea. Provides great relaxation after a long day. My only regret is not buying more. Thanks!

I bought this previously and it I was able to make around 6 drinks out an ounce, I recently bought 4 ounces at a local tea shop. The tea shop stuff after drinking a one ounce drink had no effect. Hands down will be buying from eternity in a box again, it’s high quality kava kava. What else is there to say? It’s great stuff.
