Yellow Caapi vine is said to be the most soothing and friendly of the varieties. This is the strain most commonly worked with by those without experience with Ayahuasca. Said to be a less turbulent and more welcoming means of entering the higher dimensions.

From what i understand, the color in strains is largely identified from the color of the tea which the steeping of the wood produces.
Banisteriopsis Caapi vine has been used as a medicine in South America for thousands of years, and is revered as one of the most powerful plant-medicines in the world. Traditionally it is brewed by the shaman, with the Psychotria Viridis leaves into a concotion known as Ayahuasca. This drink is used in rituals for healing physical ailments as well as taken as a means of connecting with the Spirit to learn what is right for ones self.
