Here’s a poem that I wrote yesterday called:
The Spirit’s Dreams
To see stilts propping up the scene
The energetic frame which surrounds the being.
The larger picture with the whispers from the void…
Here your life is no mere laughing toy.
To see your place and learn how
What you do brings pain or joy.
And then we’re back with a message in a bottle …
From the other side,
We can enliven our dreams
Or convince ourselves it wasn’t what it seemed…
This is relevant to my shamanic practice and is about accessing the ‘higher view’ of reality wherein much knowledge can be derived. Often we are given revelation or insights, but the ego-ed mind finds a way to dismiss the ideas and go back to the patterns its comfortable with…Do you enliven the dreams you receive, or convince yourself it wasn’t what it seemed…?
