Gotu Kola is an herb native to India, Indonesia, Iran and all the way throughout Asia. It is used traditionally in Ayurvedic medicine to promote meditative states and also to rejuvenate and detoxify the body. Gotu Kola has been used traditionally to help with memory retention, cognition, and critical thinking, making it an ideal herb for Nootropic function!
An interesting modern application of this herb is in the Decalcification of the Pineal Gland. Gotu Kola is said to be one of the most powerful herbs in these regards. I have just started to work with this plant, I believe it could be an important teacher plant with the help of other herbs. By itself, it provides a kick of energy, but a ton of focus and it lasts a few hours in my experience.
