Mimosa Powder/Shredded is being ground in-house at Eternity in a Box! Consistency will be closer to ‘extra fine shred’ and less perfectly powdered with our current equipment, but quality should be even better because we’ll grind to order and minimize oxidation. We’ll be ordering another piece of equipment to produce powder that’s flour consistency soon. What you’ll receive in is in the range of particle size shown, some powdered portions with finely shredded threads.

Mimosa Hostilis, also known as Jurema, has been used in Ayahuasca-type ceremonies in Brazil and surrounding regions. Mimosa is a quickly growing tree whose leaves and stems have been used for ailments including bronchitis and coughs, and whose roots have been used for ceremonial visionary work.
The tannins and pigments can be used as a natural red/purple dye as well, making this plant very versatile.
